| The Edna Lockwood is an award winning example of a Chesapeake Bay Bugeye
and was built by Herb Jones. The Edna Lockwood one first place for Scale
in the Novice division at the Task Force 50 Regatta in 1997 and then returned
in 1999 to win First Place Scale in the Master's division and Best
Overall for the Regatta.
In addition to being well-built, the Edna Lockwood sails easily and has shown good speed in a variety of wind conditions. In 1999, Herb won the highly coveted "Society Cup" because of the speed of the Edna Lockwood and his ship-handling skills. |
