nice setup.  action looks very similar to the automag paintball gun.  automags are high end pb guns and were considered top of the line before the rise of the electro-pneumatic guns.  see:

the automag action is one of the fastest made (26 bps) and will out shoot most feeders.  typical problems with the blow forward design is that if a ball doesnt completely feed correctly it will shear the ball in half.  then the paint from the first chop will greatly increase the likelihood of a second ball misfeeding and chopping.  and once oil in in the barrel you can forget about subsequent shots flying even remotely in a straight line.  the automag solves this with the level10 bolt which reduces the forward bolt force until the ball is completely chambered (probably engineering overkill in a rc tank firing semi auto).  be sure to use a good co2 regulator as pvc and full pressure co2 dont play well together.  good luck!

Folks,
I've been working on my paintball gun design. I bought some titanium
tube for a barrel, and a mess of lime-green paintballs, and have finished
the prototype. Well, sort of. This one has the side cut out so I can see
what it's doing inside, so it's not quite a prototype, is it?
The last step will be to figure out how to drill the air channels into
the PVC, or wherever I decide they should go, and then it will be ready to
fire.
Mind you, I've never fired a paintball gun (although I held one once),
and I've never played paintball, so I have no idea what I'm doing. Anyone
with any criticism or advice is welcome to share it.
