My front axle is a 1.2 steel rod.......no deformation there....so I'm going 
to use the same for the rear axle and just thread the ends enough to hold 
the idler wheels on.  Also I'm gonna replace the AL Angle with some AL 
square tubing to get away from that deforming too!
