The Colors of The Brooklyn Battery Naval Brigade - (BBNB)

The colors of the Brooklyn Battery Naval Brigade (BBNB) were designed by Capt. Christopher Gamaliy in February of 1999 to commemorate the start of the chapter and the IR/CWCC back in the New York City metropolitan area. The colors of the flag represent:

1)    Navy Blue field for the Navy

2)    Two white stripes which symbolize the Allied & Axis ships in the Brigade.

3)    The large gold/yellow stripe represent the union of both sides under one flag/chapter.

4)     The five stars represent the five Boroughs of New York City.

Currently, 3 boroughs of New York City are represented by Captains & Ships:

Brooklyn

Queens

Manhattan
